Waikeke’s Hawaiian Fig Bars

Starting with fig bar product concepts, the Waikeke’s Hawaiian Fig Bars brand will consist of new innovations, mostly coming from Hawaii. Our history in the fig bar business dates back to 2009 when we co-founded the Nature’s Bakery brand group, which has become a household name for its commitment to creating wholesome, delicious snacks. Nature’s Bakery revolutionized the fig bar category by offering soft-baked, plant-based fig bars made with whole grains, real fruit, and no high-fructose corn syrup, ensuring a balance of health and indulgence. The brand’s popular flavors include classics like Original Fig, Raspberry, Blueberry, and Apple Cinnamon, as well as unique variations like Peach Apricot and Double Chocolate Brownie, catering to a wide array of tastes.

Building on this legacy, Waikeke’s Hawaiian Fig Bars is collaborating with a Mainland-based fig bar facility partner to refine recipes and serve as our eventual Mainland-based manufacturing partner. At the same time, we are introducing a unique Hawaiian twist to the fig bar category. Using premium fruit pastes sourced directly from Hawaii’s rich agricultural offerings, we are incorporating crops like pineapple, mango, passionfruit, guava, and coconut into our fig bars. Production will also take place locally in Hawaii, creating a product designed to serve both residents and visitors, ensuring a taste of Hawaii in every bite.

Our commitment to Hawaii extends beyond flavor; a percentage of every sale will be dedicated to supporting Hawaiian causes, fostering a deeper connection with the local community. By combining the natural sweetness of fruits grown in Hawaii with our extensive experience in the fig bar category, Waikeke’s Hawaiian Fig Bars is poised to bring new and exciting innovations to this beloved snack, honoring both our roots in the industry and the vibrant culture of Hawaii.
